Job Summary:

As an Account Executive at Xometry Asia, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base within the region, with a specific focus on Australia, ASEAN countries, and India. You will build strong relationships with key decision-makers, provide expert guidance on our manufacturing solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Your prospecting and client development will be a combination of outbound and inbound sales efforts.

Responsibilities:

● Initiating & building relationships with engineering staff, program management, procurement, and executive management.
● Projecting company values of trust, service, and honesty, identifying strategic long-term clients, developing attractive and profitable injection molding and value-added service proposals, and ultimately securing substantial and repeatable orders.
● Develop business with existing and new customers across Australia, ASEAN countries, and India.
● Create and actively manage plans to reach specific sales objectives, growth, and market share/image improvement.
● Provide technical expertise and assist customers in selecting the best rapid manufacturing technology for their development projects.
● Be the contact person for all new projects related to prototyping and low volume production.
● Provide guidance to our sales engineering team to develop quotes based on specific customer needs. Ensure new customer requirements are collected and made available for internal departments to initiate project management.
● Ability to propose winning solutions and negotiate contract terms.
● Performs all work in compliance with Xometry’s quality and safety systems, policies and procedures.
● Deliver technical presentations at customer seminars and industry events.
● Collect and report industry trends, competitor information, customer events.

Who You Are:

● 5+ years of corporate sales experience, 2+ years selling technical products or services.
● Proven experience working with companies in Australia, ASEAN countries, and India.
● Microsoft Office & Google Suite proficiency.
● CRM experience required.
● Demonstrated prospecting and sales planning skills.
● Excellent Communication & presentation skills; written and verbal.
● Strong Negotiation Skills.
● Results driven with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
● High energy, positive attitude and comfortable engaging and selling customers.
● Able to work well in a fast-paced startup environment.
● Experience with 3D CAD modeling software helpful.
● Engineering or Manufacturing background is a huge plus.
● Native Chinese speaker, with fluent English language skills (both written and verbal).
